Most personal-finance tools assume your money moves through a bank API. In Egypt and much of the region it does not — it moves as cash, and the app never sees it. Fakka is built for that reality rather than around it.

The product is organised as four dashboards: overview, budgets, planning and reports. Budgets are governed rather than merely tracked; planning carries spending forecasts; reports turn the ledger into something a person can actually read.

Two features make it regional rather than generic. Zakat planning treats the obligation as a first-class part of a financial year rather than a calculator bolted on the side — it needs the wealth position across the whole nisab period, not a snapshot. And a WhatsApp AI agent lets someone log a cash purchase by sending a message, because a form nobody opens records nothing.

The whole interface runs English and Arabic, with the language toggle in the primary navigation rather than buried in settings.

Built on Node.js and Express, deployed to Heroku.

What is different about this one: the only product here designed around cash rather than card, and the only one where a religious obligation is a core feature rather than an afterthought. It is also the graduation project for a Computer and Communication Engineering degree.
